1 16-ounce LIVE Sea Monkey® aquarium
1 five-gallon bucket full of dry ice
4 whole limes
1 handful of peyote buttons (as available)
6 ounces of the cheapest tequila you can find
1 packet of Sea Monkey® Super-Gro® food
Put the Sea Monkey® aquarium (FULL) into the bucket of dry ice. Pack the dry ice around it. [You'll never get the damned thing to freeze in your freezer. The Sea-Monkey kit is salt-water -- which takes much colder temperatures to freeze. -- Herms] [Anyone who has successfully made nitroglycerin knows where to get dry ice. Ask around! -- G4P] HINT: THICK leather work gloves may be useful.Go ahead and drink the stuff, since you went to so much effort. But don't blame us for anything that happens afterwards.Puree the limes -- whole -- in a blender. Add in the peyote (if you found some) and puree that as well. When the Sea Monkey®s have frozen, crush the Sea Monkey® ice in the blender.
WARNING! The ice-mixture will be VERY cold!
FURTHER WARNING! Do NOT add crushed DRY ICE to your beverage! Frostbite on the lips and tongue is NO FUN AT ALL!
Mix the Sea Monkey® ice and the lime (and peyote) puree fairly well, but stop before the ice starts melting. [If it does melt, put the margaritas back in the dry ice bucket when you've finished blending them. They'll freeze again. Trust me. -- Herms] Add the cheap liquor. [Really, do NOT waste the good stuff on this concoction -- Montezuma should be fine. Odds are you'll be ralphing it all back up soon anyway. -- St Suzy]
Pour into small cups and garnish with a tiny scoop or two of the Sea Monkey® Super-Gro® food.
