I know it's a little early for the holiday blahs, but I had the misfortune to be in a mall yesterday. Mid October. The Bombay Company (no endorsement for or against, folks -- just reporting facts) was unabashedly floor to ceiling with fake plastic conifer and nutcrackers.

Yeah, yeah, yeah, whine, whine, whine.

The season isn't so bad. I usually get to see a ferret with a string of tinsel hanging out its ass.
